Autism Specific Training

BSC/ASD and TSS/ASD Specialized Training. Staff working with children on the Autism Spectrum are required to have additional training in evidence based behavioral health techniques. Click the link below to access training offered through Pennsylvania's Office of Developmental Programs.

Professional Development

In addition to weekly supervision from a BHRS masters level supervisor and monthly treatment team supervision meetings with one of our licensed Psychologists, all TSS are required to have a minimum of 20 hours of formal continuing education credits each year. Check with your supervisor for assistance in creating a continuing education curriculum individualized for you. Then click the following link to access our online continuing education services. Remember that in order to receive credit you must complete the knowledge test at the end of the course and attach the certificate to your time sheet.

Mandated Reporter Training

All BHRS staff are considered Mandated Reporters in the State of Pennsylvania. This means that we are  professional persons required by law to report evidence or suspicion that a child has been abused or neglected. The initial training we use is sponsored by University of Pittsburgh. Staff can access the training by clicking the link below and creating an account. Attach certificate of completion to your time sheet in order to be compensated for your training.
